Innovation and collaboration are key driving principles at uPATCH Applicators. So, to “practice what we preach,” we connect with academic institutions around the world that share our common interests in microneedle technology.
As part of this philosophy, we started a collaboration last year with the UniversityofWaterloo, a Canada-based, globally recognized research-intensive organization renowned for entrepreneurship and innovation.
We are working together with MahlaPoudineh, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the IdeationLab. They focus on developing polymeric microneedle array patches (MAPs) for minimally invasive monitoring and treatment in outpatient settings, while we complement their expertise as domain experts in microneedle applicators for biosensing.
Together we are working on several interesting projects and hope to be able to share some results in the (near) future.
